Where did October go?

Wow, so...October came & left in a rush! I think the more kids we have, the faster the time goes! It was a busy month with lots going on. Braeden finished baseball season taking 2nd place. We are still busy with soccer. He loves it, but doesn't have the best team! We all love to go & cheer though :) We are ready for Halloween this weekend! Tonight we're going to the old fire station for a Halloween event going on there. Then tomorrow it's Chris & Wendie's Annual Bash! Along with Trick or Treating! With 4 kids the amount of candy is insane!! Happy Halloween Everyone!

A crazy Saturday!

Now that school has started we are back to our crazy Saturday schedules! Braeden decided that he wanted to play both baseball & soccer this season....so since the little boys decided that they wanted to sit out the fall season, I decided what the heck! So here we are juggling both soccer and baseball....both games each Saturday, weekdays, and practices. Needless to say we have somewhere we need to be every night of the week. So far, so good though & Braeden is doing great! All I can say is "Braeden ROCKS!"

What happened to Summer??

Wow! I can't believe summer came & went just like that! Hmm, so much for blogging :) It's a new school year & I'm going to get back to blogging! (really, I am!) So...it all started Wednesday afternoon when the boys got off the bus & Braeden said the words I dread most! "Mom, I don't feel very good." And so it began. Today finally 5 days later we are on the mend & hopefully done with all that! After being stuck in the house all that time I finally ventured out to the store where I promised the boys I would buy something special to make for a snack. So..waht did we make? Ants on a log & Mickey mouse Ice cream scoops!

Princess!

Princess loves her new outdoor life! Sometime I feel like I don't even have a pet anymore! She leaves in the morning & will come back at bedtime. Here she is in her little kitty bed. A total Princess!

Preschool Picnic

I can't believe the school year is almost over! Logan had his preschool picnic at San Gabriel Park last week. It was a beautiful day & we all had a great time!

A busy baseball weekend!

Whew! I made it thru another busy weekend livin' the life of a single mom. The 3 older boys had a mid-season baseball tournament. We had a full week of games leading up to the weekend & as Saturday rolled around we really thought the tournament was going to get rained out. Well, the rain decided to hold off until Saturday night, so off to the games we went! Kinden & Logan went into the tournament with the #1 rank! We were so sure they were going to win! We tied the game...and went into sudden death overtime. That ended up lasting an HOUR! In the end the Yankee's lost :( but what a great game it was! Braeden's team didn't do so hot, but as usual Braeden himself had a great game :) Such a superstar that guy! Another month of craziness with those 3!

6 kids ISN'T that bad!

Whew! 6 boys under the age of 8 and I made it thru the week! We had lots of fun with Conner & Kallan this week & it went surprisingly fast! Macy & Kallan had a blast in the bath...but even MORE fun jumping on the bed afterwards! Justin & I give it a two thumbs up! So Chris & Wendie, if you ever wanna vacation again, we're here for you! Just remember paybacks can be.... you know what! And we have double the kids!! :)

This & that

Braeden is done with basketball now. His team had a great season of 7-1! Way to go Braeden!

I have been "attempting" to potty train Mason. Last fall he was doing SO WELL! Using the potty many times a day! I guess the novelty wore off & now it has been a nightmare! I'm sure Macy will get the hang of it. I just wish, sooner rather than later!

Chris & Wendie left for Las Vegas this morning. So we have Conner & Kallan for the next 4 days. I'll keep you posted on how things go!

Logan's 5th Birthday!

I can't believe my little Logie is 5! Where has the time gone? In a few short months he'll be leaving me for kindergarten :(

We had his birthday party Sunday afternoon at Berry Springs. Besides being a windy afternoon the party turned out great! Logan had all his friends (and little girlfriends) there! We did an Easter Egg hunt at the park, had some cookie cake and smacked the pinata! What a great day!

Where does the time go?

Wow, I can't believe it has been 2 weeks since my last post! Where does time go? We had a great time on our trip to Great Wolf Lodge last week! Check out my facebook page for all the pictures! We also stopped and had lunch with Tiffany, my old friend from high school. It was SO NEAT to see someone from "way back when!" Tiff was all grown up! It was weird! I guess in the past 13 years I grew up too, I just didn't know it! :)

Baseball season has started now so that has been consuming our lives! All 3 boys are playing again and to top it off Braeden is still in basketball right now. Whew! Like I mentioned it's a wild ride~ but it's fun! Next week the boys & I are off for spring break. Yippee! Maybe I'll have some fun pictures to post!

Is THAT SNOW?!

Wow! How do I even start? WE GOT SNOW!!! IN TEXAS!! Our boys have now seen snow!! Yahooo!! So wouldn't you know it, we planned out first trip to Dallas a COUPLE months ago. A little winter get away :) After 8 years, we have been to San Antonio & Houston countless times, but never to Dallas. So I thought I would plan a little trip to Great Wolf Lodge. THE most amazing place! We have wanted to go for a couple of years now. So finally I picked a date & booked it. Wouldn't you know it that the exact date I picked we would get our first ever snow in Texas since we moved here 8 years ago! What luck! After attempting to continue on with our trip, we knew messing with the weather was not worth it. So...we turned around and headed back home. Who wants to travel 195 miles in yuckiness? If that's even a word! So we came back home with a yard full of snow & thought, really, do we take the kids to school with a yard full of snow? When they have never seen it before? And might not again? (Well for 8 more years anyway!) The answer NO! So we spent the day at home LOVING every second of the snow! And much to our surprise it was still around the next morning. School was 2 hours late so the boys had another little go around! Later that afternoon temps reached nearly 60 and we said "goodbye" to the snow for another 8 :)

NO Princess!

Well, after many failed attempts to keep our sweet Princess an indoor kitty, we finally gave up! She is determined to go outside! It didn't take her long before she learned about all the fun the outdoors can bring & the day before yesterday she came home with her first bird. :( I couldn't believe it! My cuddly cute kitty. But I guess she is a cat after all.

Today Braeden is home from school with an upset stomach. He tried to get away with staying home yesterday, but I really thought he was trying to get away with something! That is until this morning when we BOTH woke up feeling bad. So Braeden is upstairs relaxing & I am just trying to get thru the day with my daycare. Ughh. Hope it goes fast! And I hope it doesn't turn into something worse, or spread to the other kids. We have a busy weekend ahead of us! AND tickets to go see Elmo. Yep, again. With 4 kids, I have been to more shows in the past 9 years than I can remember. But the smiles on the kid's face, always makes it worth it!

Happy Valentine's Day!

So the weekend started out & I was feeling kind of bummed that once again Valentine's day fell on a day Justin had to work. That's when decided, since I couldn't spend the day with Justin, I would make it all about our awesome boys! I started out Sunday morning with a valentine's breakfast. Pink pancakes, bacon, and red scrambled eggs. The boys thought that was pretty fun! I made them little valentine's day baskets with all their goodies in them. So much fun! I think this will have to be a new tradition :)

We made it again!

Hooray! Yesterday was our 3rd Sunday in a row to make it to church! Yay me! haha I love to hear what the boy's learn each week in children's church. They are so cute! After church we made little chocolate dipped cakes. Yummy! Chris & Wendie brought the kids over (along with an awesome steak & chicken dinner!) THANKS guys! We had a great meal, finally got to catch up & watch the super bowl. YEAH for the Saints!

Another Busy Saturday!

We had another wild & crazy Saturday yesterday! With basketball & 2 birthday parties, there was lots of running around to do! We started out our day at Braeden's basketball game~ where they WON again! Yay Braeden! Kinden & Logan have fun each week, cheering on their brother...and playing! And Mason...well, he had a meltdown yesterday :) All the kids running around on the court, it's just hard for a 2 yr. old to understand that HE can't run out there too! On to Josh's house for his birthday party, the boys of course had a blast! Next it was on to Hill Country Tumble & Cheer for Mia's party. Logan was soooo excited! He LOVES all his little girlfriends, and I just love to watch them! They are so cute! All in All it was a great Saturday!

Fun at Fuddruckers

It has been a cold, rainy week in Texas! After being stuck in the house for 3 days straight, I was getting some serious cabin fever! We decided to meet some friends at Fuddruckers to get out of the house. The boys had a great time & ran thru quarters like they were on fire! Fun for the kids, fun for us!

100 days of school!

Today marks the 100th day of school for the boys! They left this morning so excited about the fun day ahead of them! I on the other hand am just trying to get thru this rainy day! With the daycare kids all trapped inside, it can make for a wild day! But then I guess if you've been to my house, what day isn't wild??

Working on our Valentines

Yesterday after basketball we stopped at the store to pick out our valentine's. After much thought, it was decided Spongebob, Ben 10 & Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends would be the winners! We are all very excited and couldn't wait to make them out to our friends! Oh Yeah! And don't forget the suckers! Who wants a Valentine without any candy?

Back to Church

Since we've been kind of MIA since Christmas Eve, I have really been trying to get back into the habit of going to church. Not the easiest task to do by myself! But I did make it 2 weeks in a row now!

Basketball

Now that Braeden is in basketball our Saturdays are busy once again! He had his first game today and his team won! 14-4. We always knew Braeden was a natural!
